CHICAGO — The Chicago White Sox are inviting fans to step up to the plate and put their vocals to the test in their inaugural White Sox National Anthem Contest.
Beginning today through Thursday, July 11, fans are invited to submit an audition video online at whitesox.com/anthem for a chance to perform at live, in-person auditions, held Thursday, Aug. 8, at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Following the final-round auditions, one grand prize winner will be invited back to the ballpark to sing the National Anthem ahead of Chicago’s evening game on Tuesday, Sept. 10 against the Cleveland Guardians…
