FBI Offers $10,000 Reward For Information On Deadly New Mexico Wildfires

The FBI has announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for starting the devastating wildfires that have ravaged southern New Mexico. The South Fork Fire and Salt Fire, which ignited near Ruidoso on June 17, have claimed two lives, destroyed hundreds of homes, and forced thousands of residents to evacuate.

As of Saturday, the South Fork Fire had burned 26 square miles and was 26% contained, while the Salt Fire had consumed 12 square miles and was 7% contained. Firefighters are battling challenging conditions, and full containment is not expected until July 15…
