Normal, IL – A Normal man has been honored with the Citizen Life Saving Award for his heroic actions that saved a young woman’s life in January.
According to the Normal Police Department, on the evening of January 19, Alyssa Enevold, 22, suffered a severe cardiac event while walking on East Cherry Street. Bystander Anthony Michalski, a certified lifeguard, immediately administered CPR until the Normal Fire Department arrived.
