Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw could pitch in Reno on Tuesday as part of rehab assignment

Updated 5 p.m. June 24: Clayton Kershaw will be shut down for a week in his rehab and will not pitch in Reno on Tuesday night, according to MLB.com.

Kershaw has lingering soreness in his shoulder and will need to throw two bullpen sessions before returning to the field, according to Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
