First-time candidate Fitch leading incumbent Anderson in Sparks City Council primary

First-time candidate Brad Fitch leads incumbent Paul Anderson 45% to 32% in the Sparks City Council Ward 3 primary, based on preliminary results.

They were besting the race’s two other candidates – Marie Baker and Andrea Tavener, who each received between 10 and 13 percent of the vote.

The primary’s top two vote-getters will move onto November’s general election. Ward 3 covers southeast Sparks.
