Maryland Gov. Wes Moore in DNC speech recalls Harris’ support in Baltimore bridge collapse

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore took the stage on the third night of the Democratic National Convention to assure voters that Vice President Kamala Harris is an excellent leader amidst a crisis.

During his speech, Moore recalled when a massive container ship that slammed into the Francis Key Scott Bridge in Baltimore on March 26 . The incident led to the bridge collapsing and killing six workers who were patching potholes.

Moore detailed the phone call he had with Harris that day who assured him that “we are here with you every step of the way.”…
