APD: Investigation ongoing in Central Ave stabbing

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 )– Albany Police are investigating a stabbing that happened on Central Avenue Wednesday afternoon. Police said the 22-year-old victim is now in stable condition at Albany Medical Center.

According to police, the stabbing happened around 2:30 p.m. near 123 Central Ave. Police found the man with multiple stab wounds that EMS treated on the scene.

Police are asking the public for any information they may have about the stabbing by calling detectives at (518) 462-8039. Anyone who witnesses the crime can also submit anonymous tips about the stabbing on the Capital Region Crime Stoppers website.
