Hundreds of jobs, retail growth coming to Loxley with new industrial center

LOXLEY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance broke ground Wednesday morning on the Port Alabama Industrial Center in Loxley.

A 12 million-square-foot industrial center will soon be a normal sight for those driving down Highway 59 and Highway 90 in Loxley.

Over 900 acres of farmland are being transformed into commercial property that will eventually house businesses that will accommodate the explosive growth of the region.
