Homicide detectives reached out to the public for help Wednesday and announced a $50,000 reward for information in connection with the fatal shooting of a Victorville father of four at a South Los Angeles gas station that was caught on camera last year.
Marquette Scott, 32, of Victorville was killed in the Dec. 3, 2023 shooting at Manchester Avenue and Hoover Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“(He) was seated inside his parked vehicle when he was approached by an unknown suspect and shot to death,” according to an LAPD statement . “The suspect(s) involved in this incident remain outstanding, and the motive for this shooting is still under investigation.”…
