LCSO: 3 arrested in major meth bust in Liberty County

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, in collaboration with the Houston Police Department, executed a significant drug bust targeting the distribution of crystal methamphetamine in the Plum Grove (Colony Ridge) area on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024. The joint investigation reportedly resulted in the coordinated purchase of approximately 24 kilos of crystal methamphetamine from two suspects: 27-year-old Misael Alejandro Tenorio Jaramillo and 23-year-old Cesar Garcia-Patino, both residents of Liberty County, Texas.

The operation reached a critical point when Liberty County Criminal Interdiction Units initiated the takedown of the suspects at the intersection of Community Drive and Road 5260 near the mailboxes. During the approach, Cesar Patino allegedly attempted to escape the scene in a black Cadillac Escalade, ramming his vehicle into one of the Interdiction Units. The collision caused Patino’s vehicle to veer off into a ditch, disabling it. Patino reportedly then threw a Glock handgun from the vehicle before being apprehended by deputies…
