North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper only has a few months left of being governor of the state, but it doesn’t mean he’s out of the political arena .
Just a few short weeks ago when Vice President Kamala Harris started her campaign for the White House and began searching for a running mate, Cooper’s name was on the tip of many tongues as a possible candidate for the job. He took his name out of the pool saying he didn’t think it was the right time for him or the state. But he took a few minutes at the 2024 Democratic National Convention on Thursday night to tell those watching about his friend, Kamala.
