CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Some iconic pieces of Chicago holiday history are about to go up for auction.
“We are selling window displays from Marshall Field’s, which I think is really a part of Chicago history,” said Gabe Fajuri, the president of Potter and Potter Auctions.
Potter and Potter received the 30 moving display figures from Chicago’s Griffin Museum of Science and Industry.
“I think a lot of people are looking to buy back their childhood, to have a memory re-lived on a daily basis by seeing things around the house,” Fajuri said…
