WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police said a woman from Maryland died in the hospital after someone shot her in Northwest D.C. early Friday morning.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), officers were near the 700 block of Florida Ave. around 12:15 p.m. when they heard gunshots.

Police found evidence that a shooting took place, but did not locate any victims.
