Roland Garcia Sr.

Roland Garcia Sr.. of Alvin, Texas passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the age of 68 in Houston, Texas. Roland was born on March 15, 1956, in La Marque, Texas, he was raised in Alvin, Texas. He worked in construction with trades as painter and doing sheetrock. He was a huge Houston Texans and Houston Astros fan. Roland is preceded in death by his father, Ruben Garcia Sr. and mother, Lina Garcia and sister-in-law Norma Garcia.

Roland is survived by his wife Norma Jean Garcia; sons Roland Garcia Jr. and wife Lupe Garcia, Charles “Charlie” Garcia and wife Crystal Garcia, stepson Anthony Davila and wife Ashley Davila along with multiple grandchildren; his brothers Ruben Garcia Jr., Daniel Garcia and wife Maria Garcia; his nieces Melanie Sloan and husband Jimmy Sloan, Leticia Murphy, Amber Lasyone and husband Shanon Lasyone, Nicole Garcia and fiancé Brandon Williams; great nephews Devian Martin and wife Alyssa Martin, Lorenzo Garcia and wife Erika Garcia and along with other great-nieces and nephews;  he is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Roland was so full of life and when I mean full of life, he was the life of the party. He was a jokester and goofy. He lived life to the fullest and loved every minute of it. He would bring smiles and laughter to all our lives. No matter what the situation he was always in good spirits. He was always there for you whenever you needed him. He enjoyed family gatherings whether it was holidays, birthdays, or just any celebration. He loved spending time with his brothers, especially at the Houston Texans and Astros games. Roland was the type of man that knew the meaning of love and he will be greatly missed by all who loved him dearly…
