Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber. The couple, married for six years, shared the happy news on Instagram last Friday.
In the post, Justin uploaded a tender image of Hailey clutching the newborn’s foot, with the caption: “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER 🐻”. Hailey added to the celebration by reposting this and decorating it with bear and baby blue heart emojis.
The Mom-to-be, aged 27, previously revealed her pregnancy on May 9 via Instagram, further confirmed by her spokesperson to USA TODAY, indicating she was just over six months along at that time. In a summer issue of W Magazine, Hailey discussed why she waited to make the announcement, citing her ability to disguise the pregnancy under large jackets until she was six months pregnant. She expressed discomfort in hiding such significant news and desired to openly enjoy her pregnancy.
The Biebers have expressed their joy, although Hailey acknowledged the pregnancy stirred profound feelings about their relationship. She reflected on the emotions of deepening her love for Justin and the complexities of introducing a new member to their duo.
The Rhode founder also shared in a GQ interview last October about meeting Justin at age 12 when he was 15 during his 2009 appearance on the “Today” show. Their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship, leading to their marriage in September 2018. Prior to fatherhood, Justin addressed his personal growth and readiness for parenting in a 2019 Instagram post, aiming to overcome his deep-rooted issues to maintain his marriage and be the father he aspired to be.
