Alexander Central (3-0) stayed undefeated on the season with a 2-1 victory over South Iredell on Thursday. After several early shot attempts which just missed, junior forward Jeremiah Bennet found the back of the net in the 18th minute to put the Cougars up 1-0. Said Suaste assisted on the goal and added another of his own later in the game. Ethan Holdren had four saves in goal for the Cougars.
