OXFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – The devastating impacts of Sunday’s historic flooding can still be seen and felt in Oxford, Southbury and surrounding areas. Saturday local businesses gathered in Oxford to bring a variety of services to one spot and help those in dire need like Elizabeth Tsimbidaros.
“It was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen in my life, and it went on and you couldn’t do anything. You just had to stand there and watch it. I just had break down after break down,” said Tsimbidaros who’s Southbury home was heavily damaged.
