INDIANAPOLIS — A man walked into an Indianapolis fast food restaurant with gunshot wounds Saturday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to 2402 E. 38th Street — a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — around 8 p.m. on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located an adult male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
IMPD reported that the man was transported from the scene to an area hospital in stable condition. Due to the nature of his injuries, however, he was not able to tell police exactly where the shooting happened.
Law enforcement canvassed the area, including a McDonald’s located across the street from the Popeyes, searching for evidence of a shooting. As of 9:24 p.m., police had not discovered any evidence related to the shooting at the Popeyes or the McDonald’s…
