The Yankees dropped another game to a weak opponent, getting blown out by the Rockies 9-2. The loss came down to Will Warren getting shelled, while the offense managed very little outside of Jazz Chisholm Jr. knocking in one and Alex Verdugo finally knocking out his first homer since July 6th. Oh well, wash your hands of it and go for the series win today. In the meantime, the rest of the league had an opportunity to catch up, and a few made the most of it.
