Rare August storm brings Sierra snowfall, causes flooding in the Sacramento Valley

(FOX40.COM) — On Saturday afternoon, unseasonal weather conditions made it look like Christmas in parts of the Sierra as storms soaked parts of the Sacramento Valley.

According to the National Weather Service, a large storm band made its way across Northern California on Saturday.
