PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A 19-year-old man was arrested in Petersburg on Sunday after police said he fired shots on Roberts Avenue days before.
According to the Petersburg Bureau of Police, 19-year-old Tyquan Barnes was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 25 and charged with possession of a firearm while underage and willfully discharging a firearm in a public place.
The arrest was connected to an incident in which shots were reportedly fired on the 100 block of Roberts Avenue on Tuesday, Aug. 20. No one was shot in the incident.
Barnes has a court appearance on Sept. 30, according to the Virginia Courts website…
