Killeen asked grocery chains if they would come to city’s northside; they said no

The Killeen City Council’s newly released agenda for the upcoming meeting next week includes an update on the city’s unsuccessful attempts to attract a grocery store to north Killeen. Several major grocery store chains were approached by a city consultant about the idea of opening a location in north Killeen, but none of them said they would.
