DC tries to keep it cool amid triple-digit temperatures

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — While a lot of people were hunkered down inside with air conditioning on Wednesday, others spent the day outdoors in the heat.

Many took advantage of the water feature at Percy Plaza along the Georgetown Waterfront trying to stay cool amid the triple-digit feels-like temperatures.

“When you thought we finally made it after a brutal, brutal July, it’s finally cooling off, and now we’re back again in 100-degree heat. Mentally, it’s taking a bit of a toll,” said Andrew Glenn.
