The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has recently greenlit a new development project aimed at addressing the critical need for affordable housing in Lincoln Heights. The project, located at 1321 North Mission Road, is part of the first phase of the Restorative Care Village expansion and will see the construction of nearly 300 affordable apartment units.

The development at 1321 North Mission Road, designed by GGA+ (now operating under the name Practice), is a project spearheaded by Century Housing Corp. The property, which spans 2.3 acres and is owned by Los Angeles County, will offer 296 apartment units, according to a report by LAYIMBY. These units are exclusively reserved for households earning between 30 and 60 percent of the area’s median income, ensuring that the development serves some of the most vulnerable populations in the region…
