Mother of Columbia woman who deputies say drove into Broad River shares grief, frustrations

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The mother of a Columbia woman who died last week after deputies said she drove her car into the Broad River spoke exclusively to WIS on Tuesday, sharing her grief and frustrations as she searches for answers.

Tierra Hamer, who had just turned 23, feared for her life prior to her death, friends and neighbors say.

They also claimed she was the victim of domestic violence.
