Bedford Country Club held its Annual Member-Guest Golf Tournament the weekend of August 30 through September 1. This year’s event was held in conjunction with the club’s 75th Anniversary celebration.
The tournament drew 44 participants. The golfers enjoyed a practice round and putting contest on Friday. Saturday’s round was followed by a social hour, prime rib dinner and an evening of entertainment provided by the Steve Freeman Band. Sunday’s round concluded with a social hour, hors d’oeuvres, and the awards presentation MC’d by Les Strachan. Eleven golfers took a little something extra home with them.
