Hazelwood School District responds to allegation against staffer

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A social media post involving a school employee in the Hazelwood School District went viral, and now police are investigating.

The post accuses a staff member of engaging in inappropriate conversation with someone he thought was a minor.

Hazelwood School District posted a statement on its website reading, “The district is aware of a situation regarding a staff member at Hazelwood West Middle School and is working with law enforcement to address the situation. All students are safe and the school is calm. As this is a personnel matter, we are unable to provide additional information.”
