Triple Homicide in Vermont

Police in Vermont are investigating the tragic deaths of a family of three who were found shot to death in their home in Pawlet. The victims have been identified as 46-year-old Brian Crossman Sr., his 41-year-old wife Erica, and her 13-year-old son Colin Taft.

The bodies were discovered early Sunday morning after police responded to a report of a suspicious person. Autopsies confirmed that all three died from gunshot wounds.

Authorities have ruled the deaths as homicides and are actively searching for a suspect. At this time, there are no arrests or persons of interest in custody.

Brian Crossman was a recently elected member of the Pawlet Select Board. The community is mourning his loss and that of his family.
