The youngest female EGOT-winner in historu Jennifer Hudson will ring in the upcoming release of her first-ever holiday album with a rare present for her fans, The Gift of Love: An Intimate Live Experience. The tour will begin in Brooklyn on November 24th and will conclude in Las Vegas on December 22nd. Hudson will bring the seasonal magic captured on her October 18th Interscope Records debut The Gift of Love to the special series of performances. The exciting news was revealed today on the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning recording artist, Academy Award-winning actress, and Tony and Emmy Award-winning producer’s nationally syndicated talk show, The Jennifer Hudson Show. Hudson brings these songs to life in a way that only she could with ther combination of effortless range and melodic tone. On “Carol of the Bells,” she is joined by The Joy, a South African quintet known for their blend of traditional Zulu music and modern a cappella. In addition to that, her and fellow GRAMMY Award winner Common collaborate for the original song “Almost Christmas.” Also, much to her fans’ delight, she finally records her stunning take on “Hallelujah.” Ryan Tedder served as Executive Producer, and produced several tracks.
