PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Employees of Rivers Casinos and its parents company, Rush Street Gaming, are giving back to first responders and military both nationally and locally.
On Thursday, all five Rivers Casinos across four states participate in the company’s second annual Rivers Gives Day of Service. This includes Rivers Casinos in Portsmouth, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Des Plaines, Illinois (Chicago area) and Schenectady, New York.
Volunteers are going to veterans’ service centers or first responder organizations to participate in “facility enhancement and beautification efforts, such as groundskeeping and cleanups.”…
