P1 Marine Foundation Donates To Local Sarasota Conservation Organization

The producer of five offshore powerboat racing events this season, including last weekend’s Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix in Southwest, Fla., Powerboat P1 established the P1 Marine Foundation with the purpose of “raising awareness of threats to our oceans and supporting young people interested in marine conservation.” To that end, the nonprofit outfit made a $2,500 donation to the Sarasota-based Mote Laboratory and Aquarium, an independent, nonprofit marine research organization.
