UTICA — Months have now passed since 13-year-old Nyah Myah was shot and killed by a Utica police officer. During that time, several peaceful protests have taken place, two separate investigations conducted by the Utica Police Department and the New York State Attorney General’s Office remain ongoing, and most recently, Mway’s mother has filed a claim against the City of Utica alleging multiple violations of civil rights and wrongful death.
