SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – It was an emotional day in federal court Tuesday after a United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Georgia spokesperson says a jury found Barry Wright, 57, guilty of weapon of mass destruction charges.
He was convicted of Use of a Weapon of Mass Destruction; Use of Fire or Explosive to Commit Any Felony Offense; and Possession of an Unregistered Explosive Device.
Prosecutors say Wright used his engineering skills to build a bomb, plant it in his ex-wife, Catherine Glyn-Jones’ car, and remotely detonate it while she was driving in July 2019…
