HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) – The Mississippi Department of Education has rolled out its 2023-2024 school year ratings, and the Hattiesburg Public School District achieved a milestone.
HPSD Superintendent, Dr. Robert Williams said for the first time since Mississippi implemented performance accountability ratings, all nine of the district’s schools achieved an ‘A’ or ‘B’ rating.
“It’s just a testament to the hard work and effort that the staff and students put in day in, day out,” Williams said. “But it also signifies the support that the parents and our community at large gives us as we continue to work with students on a daily basis.”…
