Mariners make yet another embarrassing mistake on the bases

The Seattle Mariners ran themselves out of an inning for the second day in a row.

The Mariners were down 2-1 to the New York Yankees and had runners on the corners with nobody out in the bottom of the 10th inning at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Wa.

Julio Rodriguez was on third and Cal Raleigh on first with Randy Arozarena at the plate. Arozarena struck out on a 2-2 pitch, and he lost control of his bat while swinging at the ball. The bat went flying down towards third base where Rodriguez moved out of the way and drifted out of the basepath. He completely forgot that he needed to get back to the bag and was tagged out for a double play…
