Man dies in Vermilion Township house fire

VERMILION TOWNSHIP , Ohio (WJW) – A man died after a house fire in Vermilion Township on Thursday morning.

According to Vermilion Township Fire Department Chief Frank Triana, fire crews were called to a house on the 14000 block of Darrow Road just before 7 a.m.

Fire crews arrived at the scene shortly after and found a home fully engulfed in flames, with fire coming through the roof, according to Triana.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation but it “does not appear to be suspicious at this time,” according to Triana.

According to the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office, the man who died lived at the home. No other information has yet been released about the victim at this time…
