WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A Sacramento sheriff’s airplane made an emergency landing Thursday morning in a field near West Sacramento, the sheriff’s office said. There were no injuries.
Emergency medical services were dispatched around 8:12 a.m. to Lake Washington Boulevard and Village Parkway.
The single-engine Cessna C206, used for transposition and surveillance, departed Sacramento Mather Airport and headed to Watts-Woodland Airport for a routine oil change at a mechanic shop.
