MORRISVILLE, Vt. – A Morrisville man is due in court Friday, accused of murdering his estranged wife 31 years ago.
Carroll Peters, 70, was arrested Thursday by Vermont State Police for first-degree murder in the 1993 killing of his estranged wife, Cheryl Peters.
Cheryl Peters was 42 years old when police say Carroll shot her in the head at her Morrisville home. Her body was found September 2, 1993.
