Six children were evacuated from a school bus caught in the flooding on the streets of Port St. Lucie as heavy rains submerged parts of the city in water yesterday. Authorities report the kids and the bus driver are safe. Lydia Martin, a representative of St. Lucie Public Schools, confirmed the students were transferred to another bus to complete their journey home, according to CBS 12.

During a sudden storm, a school bus became stuck at the flooded intersection of Southwest California Boulevard and Beard Street.
