An Oil City man, Charles “CJ” Gilbert, 18, was charged with burglary, trespassing, and theft after entering a home in Sugarcreek Borough and stealing personal items, including undergarments valued at $445. Police were called after a person checking the property noticed signs of disturbance, though no forced entry was found. Gilbert later admitted to the crime and is now in jail awaiting a preliminary hearing.
