ADDISON (KDAF) — A festival that puts a Texas twist on German culture, food, music and beer is underway in Addison! This year’s Oktoberfest runs from September 19-22, celebrating the original Bavarian celebration with a purely Texan twist.
Abby Morales, Special Events Director for Addison, stopped by the studio to give a sneak peek at Oktoberfest festivities.
“On average, we serve about 120,000 servings of beer,” Morales said. “We pair that with some traditional German food, but there’s also festival food that has a little bit of a Texas twist to it.”…
