EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — On Montana Avenue and Zaragoza Road there are several semi-truck tankers blocking lanes for people causing traffic congestion.
El Paso CountyCommissioner Carlos Leon, who represents Montana Vista said this is dangerous for people who drive in the area because of emergency lanes being blocked and people having to turn around, Leon said he has reached out to the company who owns the tankers to get them removed.
“We contacted Magellan Oil and asked them to, what they’re doing is apparently there’s a shortage of diesel oil in Mexico. So, these tankers are lining up and picking up the diesel or other oils here at Magellan and going south. So I’m hoping that within the next few days all those tankers are off Montana because it’s a tremendous hazard,” said Commissioner Leon…
