Man Stabbed On Orange Line Train Downtown Early Friday

DOWNTOWN — An Orange Line rider was seriously wounded after two men stabbed him on a train moving through the Loop early Friday, police said.

About 4:30 a.m., the 32-year-old man was on an Orange Line train headed to Washington and Wells streets when two men “produced a cutting instrument” and stabbed his left side, police said.

The victim and the two men got off the train at the Washington and Wells stop, police said. The attackers ran away, and the victim was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, police said…
