FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Isolated rain and thunderstorms moved through parts of the region late this afternoon and early evening, though most still dodged the rain altogether! No more thunderstorms are expected for the rest of the evening/night.
Clearing skies tonight, paired with calm wind and pockets of moisture from these isolated showers, could result in a bit of patchy dense fog.
Saturday looks dry, mostly sunny, and hot with highs near 90º, but the largest weather system this month will come barreling in as early as midday Sunday, leading to some widespread, and much-needed, rain. Highs, as a result, will be much cooler, only making it into the 70s. I know this is some pretty extreme weather for Johnny Appleseed, but at least 60-70% of the weekend will be dry!…
