Nevada women’s volleyball struggled to find its rhythm against Maryland, suffering a 3-0 loss in their second match of the UCF Tournament at The Venue. With the loss, the Wolf Pack’s overall record drops to 7-4.

Maryland dominated the first two sets, holding Nevada to hitting percentages of .086 and .000, while the Terrapins attacked at a strong pace, particularly in the second set, where they hit .435. Nevada showed resilience in the third set, but ultimately fell short as Maryland closed out the match.

In the first set, Nevada couldn’t overcome Maryland’s aggressive offense, falling 15-25. The second set followed a similar pattern, with the Terrapins controlling the tempo and sealing it 14-25. Nevada battled back in the third set, tightening the score to 22-25 but couldn’t extend the match…
