Steve Dahms likes to cook just as much as he likes to feed the people around him, so when he nailed down his recipe for an Italian Beef Sandwich, he couldn’t wait to share it with the city.
Dahms is hosting his second-ever pop-up Sept. 27 at The Historic Jury Room, an event center located at 22 E. Mound St. The pop-up will include Italian Beef Sandwiches, which are slow-cooked roast beef-style sandwiches.
The sandwiches are big in Chicago and gained a lot of popularity after the premiere of the hit series The Bear, where the sandwiches are featured. There aren’t many places in Columbus that make these types of sandwiches, and of the ones Dahms has tried, he said he felt like something was missing…
