Mansfield Senior 20, New Philadelphia 19 OT
The Mansfield Senior Tygers picked up their first win of the season in a dramatic 20-19 overtime victory over New Philadelphia on Friday night.
With the score tied 13-13 heading into overtime, New Philly scored on its first possession but a bad snap ended the extra point attempt and gave the Quakers a 19-13 lead with the Tygers taking over. And that was when the Tygers reached into their bag of tricks. Guy Trader caught a 20-yard pass from wide receiver Ny Petty on a double pass and Griffin DeBolt booted the game-winning extra point through to help Mansfield Senior improve to 1-4 and 1-1 in the OCC…
