Terps Defeat Hoosiers, 1-0, Advance To 2-0 In Conference Play

BLOOMINGTON, IN – Maryland men’s soccer defeated Indiana, 1-0, on Saturday morning at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Following a 3-0 win over then-No. 8 Wisconsin, Maryland (4-1-3, 2-0 Big Ten) posted a shutout against its second consecutive conference opponent. 

Sophomore midfielder Leon Koehl got the Terps on the board first with a penalty kick goal in the 40th minute. The score was his team-leading third of the season. All of his goals have come on penalty kicks, and he’s 3-of-3 from the spot. Koehl also leads the Big Ten Conference with his three penalty kick goals.
