Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently being held in a Brooklyn jail that has been described as “hell. ” The 54-year-old was arrested earlier this month on various charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. After being denied bail twice, it appears the star will remain in the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York.
Sam Mangel, a federal prison consultant, has described the MDC as one of the worst jails in the United States of America. He spoke to The Mirror about how terrible the jail really is. Sam describes Diddy’s jail as “an administrative security facility. So it holds both pre-sentenced individuals and people sentenced pending designation to their final locations,” reports the Mirror US .
He added: ” Brooklyn happens to be the worst possible facility in all the detention centers in the United States.” The consultant has three clients currently in the MDC Brooklyn. “I can tell you from speaking with them and doing video calls with them almost daily it is the most, the most dangerous unsecured facility, detention center, in the country for a number of reasons,” he said.

“It’s tremendously understaffed,” Sam explained. “The physical plan is in abhorrent shape. So in addition to having issues with maintenance and the HVAC system and the water, and the toilets…and the mold issues because they’re so understaffed they simply don’t have the personnel or budget to fix it.”…
