Volleyball Finishes Strong at Warhawk Invitational

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball team concluded its time in Alabama on Saturday with matches against Arkansas Tech and Shorter.

The Sailfish faced off against Arkansas Tech for the first time since 2018 and the second time in program history to start the day. PBA dropped the first set, but rebounded nicely to defeat the Golden Suns, 3-1. The Sailfish ended the tournament with another match against Shorter, after defeating the Hawks on Friday. The ‘Fish swept Shorter for the second straight day, taking down the Hawks, 3-0.

“Today capped off a nice weekend for our program with continued improvement in execution and leadership,” PBA head coach Jeff Huebner said. “AB and Savanna pulled together today to create a ton of consistency for our program, along with Jayna who finishes up the 4 best serve receive matches of her career.”…
